Nothing is worse than being out in nature and have mother nature strike.

Its all fun and adventure until someone laughs, cough, or sneezes too hard.  But in reality LBL is no laughing matter but its part of life.

• One in three women experience Light Bladder Leakage (LBL) – little leaks that can be triggered by everyday occurrences like coughing, sneezing, laughing and exercise.
o Weak pelvic floor muscles, pregnancy, childbirth and weight gain are just a few LBL contributors.

Just as no two women are alike, there’s no single reason that LBL happens. Some of the most common things that lead to uninvited leaks include:
• Physical changes from childbirth, pregnancy, hysterectomy or menopause
• Being overweight
• Complications from surgery, stroke, or chronic diseases like diabetes, multiple sclerosis (MS) or Parkinson’s disease
• Bladder or urinary tract infections
• Bladder irritants (certain foods and beverages)

Women deserve the best options for managing LBL. Whether you leak a little when you laugh, or sometimes have a sudden urge to go, Poise gives you one less thing to worry about any time of day or night. Our pads and liners are specifically designed for LBL, which makes them an easy choice for the 1 in 3 women with light bladder leaks.

Stay fresh and confident with Poise® pads and liners. They’re designed specifically for Light Bladder Leakage (LBL), which make them an easy choice for the 1 in 3 women who experiences LBL.

Designed to move with your body, new Poise Thin-Shape pads feature Super Absorbent Material (SAM) and a Thin-Flex design for extraordinary protection that’s still 3x drier than period pads*† to help you take care of leaks with confidence.

*vs. leading regular size period products, where most needed

So now that you know more about how Poise Thin-Shape Liners and how they can help with LBL what will you do with your old liners?  Join the #RecycleYourPeriodPads movement and show us how creative you can get with your leftover liners!

Suzie Lou Blog Giveaway | $25 Gift Card to Jamberry Nails

Greetings Suzie Lous!

Today I have a tutorial for you as well as a giveaway!

My friend Katie has her own business with Jamberry Nails!  She has asked me to review her product and provide my take on Jamberry Nails.

Lets get started….

1// First gather your materials

2// Make sure your nails are clean and prepped, then measure your nail to the strips

3// Peel off the strip using the orange stick and heat for a few seconds using the hairdryer.

4// Place strip on nail and press hard

5// Cut off excess and file down the extra

6// Heat one last time for a few seconds and DONE

In Review: There were many steps involved in using theses.  However they did stay on for quite some time and the removal was much cleaner than using polish.  I hope to try these on my toes soon as I believe they would work better.

Now that you know how Jamberry Nails work its your turn to try them.  Enter the giveaway below and try your chance at winning a $25 gift card to Katie’s Jamberry Store!  Best of luck!  The winner will be announced on Monday, July 13th!

Have you tried Jamberry Nails?  Do you have any tips or tricks?

Thanks to Katie for allowing me to review and host this giveaway!

MAKING… Lots of tasty meals on the grill with Jason.  We have been taking full advantage of the warm summer weather and grilling up some healthy meals on the grill.

ANTICIPATING… Saturday night!  Jason has bought tickets for us to go see Chicago in Davidson this weekend.  Chicago is one of our favorite shows.  I cannot wait to see this amazing cast in action.  We also have the pleasure of seeing a show directed by Corey Mitchell who recently accepted the TONY AWARD for Excellence in Theatre Education.

LEARNING… To find balance in all aspects of my life.  I have a post coming up later this week for how I deal with anxiety.  I started off today with the attitude that Monday was not going to be the boss of me.  Let me tell you what, I showed Monday who was really in charge.  Needless to say I Carpe Diem..ed that mess!

LISTENING TO…   My new fave jam is Shut Up and Dance by Walk the Moon!

EATING…  In the process of beginning the 21 Day Fix.  I am excited about really buckling down and getting back to being active and eating right.

PLANNING FOR…. All the fun list of things I want to accomplish during my hiatus from the theatre.  I have done 11 shows in 3 years and that doesn’t even count the shows I helped with backstage.  I need time to prep for Mary Poppins auditions.  Yes you heard me right, Mary Poppins will be flying in to The Green Room Community Theatre this December! Fingers crossed!

THANKFUL FOR… My family and friends.  Most importantly I am so thankful for the amazing man in my life.  Jason is my biggest supporter and inspires me to be a better person every single day.  He is my accountability partner and I try not to give him the stink eye when he says, “how about water instead of a soft drink.”  I am so blessed to have him in my life.  I love you sweetheart!  We have such a bright future ahead and I cannot wait to see what it holds.

What have you guys been up to?  Wanna know what I am up to day by day?

Check me out on Snapchat: Laura | The Suzie Lou Blog!  I am going to attempt to do an hour by hour snaps tomorrow.  So follow along to see what I am up to tomorrow.
